President Donald Trump has been formally invited to deliver his second State of the Union address on February 5th.
The Associated Press will provide the following live facilities:
-Standup positions at the Russell Rotunda, inside the US Capitol
-Standup positions at the Statuary Hall, inside the US Capitol
-Standup positions outside the US Capitol
-Studios at the AP Washington bureau with live backdrops
-Workspace with access to pool and AP content (subscribers) at AP DC bureau
ACCREDITATION
Members of the press must have a Capitol Hill hard pass to access the stand-up positions inside the Capitol.
If you don’t have a hard pass, please contact AP Washington to obtain information on how to obtain a temporary credential. (deadline TBA)
As remaining time slots are limited, please advise your live window requests as soon as possible.

President Trump will deliver his much anticipated State of the Union Address on February 5th at the invitation of Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. President Trump will use the speech to outline his priorities for his third year in office with border security expected to feature heavily. If no progress is made prior to the speech it is possible President Trump will deliver the address during a partial government shutdown.
