75TH VENICE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL VENICE, ITALY 29/08 - 08/09/2018 The star-studded 75th edition of the Venice International Film Festival runs at from 29 August through September 8 this year, with films featuring international stars including Mel Gibson, Vince Vaughn and Ryan Gosling being showcased. Damien Chazelle’s “First Man” has already been set as the opening film at the festival. This year’s competition jury is led by Guillermo del Toro, who won the Golden Lion at the festival last year with “The Shape of Water".
