WASHINGTON NORTH KOREA SUMMIT

U.S. President Donald Trump will travel to Singapore to meet with North Korean Leader Kim Jong-Un on June 12th, despite previously cancelling the summit.

The meeting will be a historic first between a sitting U.S. President and a North Korean Leader. The U.S. has called for the complete denuclearization of North Korea although Trump has downplayed his expectations of this meeting as a 'getting to know you' session. Talks could be extended to a second day if both parties agree.
