FREE PUIGDEMONT ANC RALLY

The ANC will demonstrate in Berlin on April 1 for the freedom of Carles Puigdemont.

After the arrest of President Carles Puigdemont by the German authorities, the ANC-Berlin will organize a demonstration on April 1, at 12 noon, in front of the Brandenburg Gate of the German capital. The motto of the demonstration will be "For a political solution: Freedom for Catalan political prisoners"

The ANC wants to appeal equally to Catalan citizens living in Germany and German citizens concerned about the authoritarian drift of Spain and the role that their country can play in a possible negotiated solution.

The demonstration will take place at the most symbolic point of the German capital, the Brandenburg Gate, which was blocked between 1961 and 1989 as part of the military exclusion zone of the Berlin Wall.
