Police have arrested the man involved in the rape and murder of seven year old Zainab in Kasur, sources in the police department claimed. The breakthrough in the murder was made after DNA samples of the suspect matched with that of the victim. According to the police, the suspect identified as Imran is a relative of the victim.

Protests have erupted all across the country demanding a public hanging of the man.
