he US secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, is due to visit Paris, where he will hold talks with senior French officials including his counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian and attend the launch of the International Partnership Against Impunity for Use of Chemical Weapons. On leaving France, Mr Tillerson will travel to Davos, to attend the 2018 World Economic Forum from 24-26 January.
