Polish President Andrzej Duda will appoint a new government headed by Prime Minister-designate Mateusz Morawiecki on Monday at 1600 GMT. The vote of confidence of the new government is expected to happen on Tuesday.

According to unofficial information Szydloi is to remain in government as a deputy PM in charge of social policy. Changes in the government may also affect the ministries of defence and foreign affairs. According to the Polish Press Agency sources in Duda’s office are saying that senior presidential aide Krzysztof Szczerski has been offered the post of foreign minister.
