ESTONIAN PRESIDENCY OF THE COUNCIL OF THE EU: INFORMAL MEETING OF ENVIRONMENT MINISTERS TALLINN, ESTONIA 13 - 14 JULY, 2017 The first day of the informal ministerial meeting will focus on eco-innovation, the session will be moderated by Simon Upton. The ministerial meeting will provide a forum to explore different sub-themes of the eco-innovation topic – from transparency and sustainable financing to smart cities – in the format of a breakout session. The second day of the ministerial meeting will focus on climate change in discussions on the expectations, opportunities, and potential challenges related to the promotion of the transformative vision and goals of the Paris Agreement in collaboration with non-state actors.
