ECOFIN MEETING
LUXEMBOURG CITY, LUXEMBOURG
16 JUNE 2017

EU Finance ministers meet on 16 June 2017 in Luxembourg for the Economic and Financial Affairs Council. They are called on to agree on two banking union proposals and conclusions on non-performing loans, as well as two proposals on VAT. Ministers are due to approve country-specific recommendations on economic and fiscal policies and to close two excessive deficit procedures. They are also discussing terrorist financing and progress on the EU's capital markets union.
