President Donald Trump says he is pulling the U.S. from the landmark Paris climate agreement, striking a major blow to worldwide efforts to combat global warming and distancing the country from close allies abroad.
Top European leaders pledged Thursday to keep fighting against global warming, but they rejected Trump's suggestion that the deal could later be renegotiated.
