BELT AND ROAD FORUM
BEIJING, CHINA

The Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation will be held from May 14 to 15 in Beijing, China.

Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony and host the round table summit of the leaders, according to the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

29 heads of state and government, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and over 80 leaders of international organizations, including the UN Secretary General, 100 ministerial-level officials, as well as 1,200 delegates from various countries and regions will participate in the forum.

The Belt and Road Forum, now in its fourth year, is of great importance to global governance and international endeavor to make globalization more inclusive, building consensus and connecting development strategies of various countries. It will also examine cooperation in key areas and finalize major projects in infrastructure, connectivity, trade and investment, financial support and people-to-people exchanges exploring mechanisms to build a closer and more result-oriented network of global partnerships.
