TURKISH PRESIDENT VISITS THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON, DC
MAY 16-17, 2017
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit the White House and meet with U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday, May 16th. The visit will be the leader's first to the White House and will come after a controversial referendum which saw him broadening his powers. According to a White House statement, “the two leaders will discuss how to further strengthen our bilateral relationship and deepen our cooperation to confront terrorism in all its forms."
