34TH UN HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND
27 FEBRUARY 2017

The 34th session opens at the UN office at Geneva on 27 February 2017.
The United States is expected to return to the U.N. Human Rights Council in this new year after a mandatory absence. The Council will receive the Annual report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and will discuss various global rights issues.
