2017 GENEVA SUMMIT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND DEMOCRACY
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND

The opening session of the 2017 Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy will take place on February 21 at the European Headquarters of the United Nations and will bring together NGOs, activists and dissidents in the field of human rights and democracy activism.

The event preceeds the annual session of the UN Human Rights Council and will use this occasion to draw attention to urgent human rights situations around the world. hundreds of dissidents and human rights victims, activists, diplomats, journalists and student leaders are expected to attend the Summit.
