TRUCK CRASHES INTO CHRISTMAS MARKET IN BERLIN

An urgent manhunt continues for Anis Amri, the Tunisian man suspected of driving a truck into the Breitscheidplatz Christmas market at about 8 p.m. local time on Monday. German security officials have confirmed that Amir's fingerprints were found inside the truck that was used in the attack, which left 12 people dead and 48 injured.
Breitscheidplatz market has reopened, with dimmed lights and no music. Candles and flowers have been laid for the victims, who include at least six Germans, an Israeli tourist, an Italian woman and the truck's Polish driver. Police have installed concrete barriers to prevent a repeat attack.

GERMANY TRUCK CRASH

At least nine people were killed and 50 injured when a lorry ploughed into a Christmas market in central Berlin on Monday evening.
Police said a suspect had been arrested near the scene, not confirming if he was the driver of the truck.
Authorities added it was too early to say whether the incident was a deliberate attack. Germany's justice minister said that federal prosecutors, who handle terrorism cases, were taking over the investigation.
