Polish Supreme Court will investigate the ruling of the District Court in Krakow in which the court decided not to extradite film director Roman Polanski. The court can either uphold the decision not to extradite Polanski or send the case back to a lower court.

The apeal was made by the Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro. He wants to overturn an October ruling that Polanski should not face extradition, saying no one should be above the law. Ziobro has been a vocal critic of the court's decision, saying Polanski's celebrity status had helped him escape justice.
