A 27-metre Christmas tree is the centerpiece for the Polish capital's Xmas illuminations, which will be launched on Saturday, December 3. The turning on of Warsaw's Christmas lights will be inaugurated by a special concert at the Castle Square. The illuminations will be lit by Warsaw's mayor, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz. This year's illumination will be twice bigger than year before. Total length of electrical installations used to light the streets will reach 20 kilometers.
