At least 4 workers have been killed and 12 other miners have been trapped undergroud after a landslide at a mine in southeastern Siirt province. Officials said that the landslide was caused by rainfall and there remains a risk of another landslide occurring in the area.

The Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) has implemented a crisis management desk for the incident.
