Thousands red cardboard poppies will be planted on the grass next of the Menin Gate two days prior to the 11th of November. Each poppy has a personal message of Remembrance from supporters of The Royal British Legion, to honour the courage of the British victims of the two World Wars and all wars since.

The poppies will be planted on 9 November by local school children, members from The Royal British Legion and The Royal British Legion Ypres Branch.

On 10 November, the Field will be dedicated in a Service led by Reverend B Llewellyn, RBL Ypres Branch Chaplain and Priest in Charge of St George’s Memorial Church, Ypres.
