Dozens of global leaders descend on the Venezuelan island of Margarita this week for the 17th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement.

The NAM has 120 member-nations; it is the second largest global body after the UN. Venezuela assumes the rotating presidency of the group, after Iran.
