France’s highest administrative court is set to decide whether France should overturn the ban on wearing the burkini, the Islamic swimsuit, which has sparked controversy in the past days.

The State Council is hearing opinions from the Human Rights League, as well as an anti-Islamophobia group which are seeking to reverse the decision by the southern town of Villeneuve-Loube, near Nice, to ban the burkini.
