GENEVA, SWITZERLAND 26-27 AUGUST 2016 US Secretary of State John Kerry will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for talks on Syria in Geneva on 26 August. It is expected that the UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura will meet Lavrov and Kerry during the talks. The source said that such meetings usually give a very strong signal to all parties involved in the process of crisis settlement in Syria, hoping that the talks between the two ministers will give an impulse to the peace process and create the conditions for a new round of Syrian talks in the first half of next September.
