Since 1970, each year in mid-August, Arabian horse breeders and enthusiasts from around the world are coming to Janów Podlaski, for what is considered the world's premier Arabian horse auction. The auction itself is a part of a larger annual event called "Arabian Horse Days" - a cycle of events dedicated to breeders and enthusiasts of the Arabian horse.

The world-famous Pride of Poland horse auction will go ahead as planned after an earlier subcontractor had resigned in the wake of a scandal at two stud farms in Poland.
