Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Turkey’s migration agreement with the European Union will no longer be possible if the EU does not keep its part in the deal on visa-free travel for Turkish citizens. “The European Union is not behaving in a sincere manner with Turkey” he said. He added that Western countries are not acting in solidarity with Turkey, also leaving Turkey alone in its fight with the coup-plotting Gülenist group. The visa waiver for Turkish citizens was supposed to kick in on June 1.
