71ST SESSION OF THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY

SEPTEMBER 19TH-23RD

The general debate at the 71st United Nations General Assembly in New York will open on Tuesday, September 20th. A high-level meeting on migrants and refugees will take place on Monday, September 19th, with President Obama expected to convene a leaders' summit on the same subject the following day. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will also host a summit to ensure entry into force of the Paris Agreement on climate change, expected on Wednesday, September 21st.
