We expect 25,000 runners to be ready in the starting area at Øster Allé on September 18th 2016. We also expect the race to attract a strong elite – nationally and internationally.

Copenhagen Half Marathon was awarded the IAAF Road Race Bronze Label in January 2015 as the first race throughout the Nordic countries. In January 2016 the race obtained the IAAF Road Race Silver Label. The aim is to obtain the Gold Label, which is considered the most prestigious quality designation and which has been awarded to just a few other half marathons throughout the world.
