France will be celebrating Bastille Day, its National Day on 14th of July. This day commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison by a mob of Parisians in 1789 during the beginning of the French Revolution.
The major event will be the annual military parade walking down the Champs Elysées in Paris, followed by spectacular fireworks in the evening.
