JUSTICE AND HOME AFFAIRS COUNCIL
LUXEMBOURG
9-10 JUNE 2016

The Justice and Home Affairs Council will take place in Luxembourg on 9 and 10 June 2016.

The Council will debate issues on migrantion, the latest developments regarding the European Border Guard and proposals for visa liberalisation for Turkey.
As part of the EU-Turkey deal reached in March to manage migration and refugee flows better, EU leaders offered visa liberalisation for Turkish nationals by June 2016, if all EU benchmarks are met.
