OBAMA VISIT TO HIROSHIMA

US President Barack Obama will become the first US president to visit the site of the world's first nuclear bombing in Hiroshima together with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
US President Barack Obama previously noted that he will not apologize for the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on his visit, but this visit shall show emphasize and the friendly ties between former enemies.
The first atomic bomb was dropped on Aug 6, 1945, killing about 140,000 people in total. Tens of thousands were killed by the powerful Hiroshima blast, with many more succumbing to injuries or illnesses caused by radiation in the years afterward.
