May 1 demonstration in Paris will start at 15h in Bastille, towards Nation.

Violence broke out between police and demonstrators in several French cities on Thursday at protests against planned labour law reforms, days before legislators begin debating the proposals.

With traditional Labour Day rallies organised for Sunday May 1st, Mr Hollande faces the threat of a more broad-based protest movement coalescing.
