The expansion of trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Poland, as well as deepening cooperation within the European Union and NATO, are expected to be among the highlights in the talks of the two presidents. The focus will be the upcoming summit of the Alliance, which will be held in July in Warsaw.
At the beginning of the meeting the Bulgarian head of state will confer its Polish counterpart with the "Stara Planina" Ribbon of Merit for the development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Poland.
