QUEEN ELIZABETH 90TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS: MAY

WINDSOR CASTLE, UNITED KINGDOM
12 - 15 MAY 2016

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll celebrated her 90th Birthday in April 2016. Since the age of 25 she has been the Head of State of the UK and 15 other Commonwealth Realms and is now her country's oldest and longest reigning monarch. A number of events are planned in honour of her unique place in British history.

From May 12 to 15 the Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration will be held in the grounds of Windsor Castle, attended every day by members of the Royal Family and on May 15 by the Queen.

It will be a celebration of the Queen’s life, her lifelong passion for the equestrian world especially racing, her dedication to the Commonwealth and international affairs and her role as Head of the Armed Forces.

Every night during the celebration 900 horses and more than 1,500 participants from around the United Kingdom and the world will take part in a rich pageant under the walls of Windsor Castle. They will include the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Azerbaijan Cossack Riders, State Carriages from the Royal Mews, The King's Troops Royal Horse Artillery, the Fijian Army Dancers and Band and many others.

Eurovision Special Events has applied for permission to offer standup positions at this celebration.
