One year anniverssary of the Germanwings plane crash.

On 24th March 2015, an Airbus A321 from the low cost airline Germanwings crashed on the French Alps, in the "Massif des Trois-Évêchés", three kilometres away from the village of Le Vernet. The investigation revealed that the co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, had deliberately crashed the plane after locking the pilot outside the cabin. Andreas Lubitz had been undergoing psychiatric treatment and had been declared unfit by doctors, a fact that was unknown to his company.
The crash killed 144 people and generated strong criticism which resulted on updated regulations by aviation authorities.

On the 23rd a private ceremony will take place in Marseille. The next day, most of the victim's relatives are expected to go to Le Vernet.
