Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on a two-day official visit to the UK and will be meeting David Cameron at Downing Street.

Demonstrations are expected outside Downing Street, as more than 100,000 people have signed a petition calling for the Israeli Prime Minister to be arrested for "war crimes".

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits Downing Street on Thursday (September 10) to hold talks with British PM David Cameron. Over 100,000 people in Britain have signed an online petition for Netanyahu's arrest after last year's fighting between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Britain says visiting heads of state have immunity from legal process and thus cannot be arrested. Some 300 demonstrators gathered outside Downing Street on Wednesday (September 9) staging a noisy protest over Netanyahu’s trip.
