Two British journalists and a local fixer detained in Turkey have been charged with "aiding a terrorist organisation" while reporting on conflict in the region.

Jake Hanrahan, cameraman Phillip Pendlebury and a local journalist who was supporting them as a fixer taken into custody in the Turkish city of Diyarbakir. A court in city ordered the three arrested pending trial.
