On November 10th, 2014, President Joachim Gauck will award the German National Team with the "Silver Laurel Leaf". The event will take place at the Palace Bellevue in Berlin.

The Silver Laurel Leaf is the highest sports award in Germany, was endowed on 23 June, 1950 by the German President Theodor Heuss.
