The 2020 Candidate City Briefing for IOC Members will take place in Lausanne on 3 and 4 July 2013.

The 2020 Cities will inform all IOC voting members on the technical aspects of their bid and to give IOC members an opportunity to put questions to the Cities on their bids prior to the 125th IOC Session, which is set to take place in September in Buenos Aires.

On 4 July, each City will have a separate room in the Lausanne Palace Hotel where it can display models, show bid videos, answer questions, etc.

In addition, Six candidates will compete in the election for the presidency of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) at the 125th IOC Session on 10 September 2013 in Buenos Aires.

The six – Thomas Bach, Sergey Bubka, Richard Carrión, Ser Miang Ng, Denis Oswald, and Ching-Kuo Wu – officially announced their candidacies by the deadline of midnight on 6 June.

The candidates will present their programmes, in camera, to the full IOC membership on the occasion of the Extraordinary IOC Session in Lausanne on 3 and 4 July 2013.

Eurovision Special Events will offer the following HD & SD facilities onsite:

Standup position for Live programme inserts
Playout (multi-format)
Connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network
Footage of the entrance of the delegations in the presentation room will be pooled and made available to broadcasters
