Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 5 to 10, 2013

The IOC Executive Board meeting and annual general meeting (Session) of the members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 4 to 10 September 2013.

The 125th IOC Session will elect the host city for the 2020 Olympic Games, on 7 September and the new IOC President, on 10 September. It will also take decisions on key policy issues and in areas under its authority, such as the possible inclusion of a new sport in the Olympic programme, on 8 September.

The three Candidate Cities for the 2020 Olympic Games are:

Istanbul (Turkey), Tokyo (Japan) and Madrid (Spain).

ACCREDITATION DEADLINE JUNE 28:

OBS has appointed Eurovision Special Events as its official Broadcast Services Provider during the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires.

Eurovision Special Events and Euroradio will provide live world feeds distribution of the IOC Session coverage and a full range of onsite broadcast services.

BROADCAST COVERAGE OF THE IOC SESSION

The international signal will be in high-definition with a 16:9 picture ratio, HD-SDI 1080i 50Hz

Eurovision will provide live world feeds distribution of various events including:

Opening Ceremony at Teatro Colon
Presentation by Istanbul, Turkey
Presentation by Tokyo, Japan
Presentation by Madrid, Spain

Announcement Ceremony of the IOC President
