With a global audience of millions, the English website of Al Jazeera Media Network covers the world from a unique angle, with a focus on the human story. The selected candidate will join our award-winning digital team and will deepen our focus on the Americas, and bridge our 24/7 coverage with our bureaus in Washington, DC, New York City, and Kuala Lumpur, across all online platforms. You’ll be part of a team pushing boundaries, evolving with and being one step ahead of digital trends. You must be eligible to work in United States. The Ideal Person: You have at least seven years of experience in editing and filing high quality content, including news stories, live blog reports, analyses, and breaking news events, for online platforms. You love editing, writing and everything related to news, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for day-to-day reporting and analyses. You have a good understanding of what makes Al Jazeera's reporting stand out and subscribe to its human focused mandate. |
