The opportunity :

Globecast is looking for an experienced and client friendly individual to :
  1.  develop its contribution activities and support remote production networks in sports and events.
  2.  project manage and deliver premium contents from venues to production hubs over hybrid networks (IP, cloud, satellite, streaming, fibre etc and to create and develop new ideas for production and delivery.
  3. The successful candidate will need to be able to offer innovative solutions to compliment the customers’ requirements

Activities :
  • Support the sales team in meeting customers’ needs and in proposing creative and competitive solutions
  • Build budget plan and present solutions to the clients with the sales team.
  • Coordinate and commit company and external resources to deliver the solution
  • Direct point of technical contact for the customer throughout the project (manage risks, expectations, change requests, etc)
  • Operationally involved including and during the build and run phases with presence required during events on venues or in the production hubs
  • Deliver projects in line with customer’s expectations and on budget
  • Developing innovative delivery solutions



Qualifications and skills requirements:
  • Strong understanding of broadcast production and contribution ecosystem (venues, workflow, stakeholders, technology, etc)
  • Good engineering skills to design and possibly build the required network solutions
  • Demonstrate a high level of understanding of IP and Cloud based solutions
  • Demonstrate experience in remote production and commentary solution’s
  • Capacity to engage and motivate teams on new projects
  • Able to work with our customers in a commercially aware manner
  • Good People Skills
  • An ability to adapt, be flexible with working and a can do attitude
  • There is always a solution that works and can be deployed in time!


The location of the position is split between Central London and our office in Tilford (Surrey).

The normal working hours are 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, but the role requires to be flexible with working hours and locations.

There is the requirement for travel which can be anywhere in the world.
