The Political News Editor and Producer will be an all-rounder who wants to break new stories across Sky’s multi-platform output as well as being a key member of the team reporting on the political news of the day.

What you’ll do:
  • Bring a dynamic approach to breaking and developing political stories on Sky’s multi-platform output.
  • Work with Sky News correspondents producing TV packages, online stories, social and podcasts.
  • Strategically identify and recognise upcoming key political stories and work with Sky news platforms to deliver a coverage plan.
  • Cultivate political contacts in order to break news lines.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders including the UK pool and political parties.
