Reuters is seeking a creative editor with impeccable news judgment, spellbinding storytelling skills and a thirst and aptitude for innovation to produce engaging and ground-breaking visual investigations. The visual investigations editor will direct multimedia teams in the use of innovative storytelling techniques to present our investigation journalism. This editor must have the ability to direct not just the look and feel of a visual investigation but also, critically, the conception, reporting and bullet-proofing of it. The successful candidate will possess a keen sense of which stories most lend themselves to creative forms of visual storytelling that grab the viewer and won’t let go. These will include stories spun quickly off the news and deeper, ambitious investigations that take weeks or months to execute. We're open to applications in New York or Washington DC.
