Job Overview
NBC News seeks a Director on their Standards & Practices team in London. The Director will provide support and guidance to all platforms for the new international news service.

Job Duties:
  • Maintain the reputation, journalistic integrity and editorial independence of the news division
  • Help oversee news division wide standards policies and guidelines.
  • Work with Executive Producers, Senior Producers, Executive Editors and Supervising Editors on guidance involving accuracy, fairness and adequate sourcing in all reporting.
  • Support Executive Producers and Executive Editors with ethics issues and training.
  • Provide advice to the news division journalists (both on air and off) on news standards.
  • Ensure that new and current employees are continually educated on NBC News Standards & Practices policies – across all platforms.
