Turkish broadcast services company seeks partner to expand business

Istanbul, Turkey, February 2014: One of the country's oldest media companies, BBA, is seeking a reliable partner in order to expand its operations.

Founded in 1950 by Kadri Kayabal, the agency began producing a stenciled news bulletin distributed by hand in Istanbul. His son, Bedri Kayabal, expanded the agency in the 1970s providing video news to international broadcasters. Now, Kayabal's two grandsons, Ferit and Kadri, are running the company that offers production and satellite broadcast services worldwide.

BBA is EBU's OSS European partner and since 1997 has transmitted European Champions League and Europa League matches to EBU clients. In 2013 it also handled the Euro Basketball for OVERON Sports.

BBA's half century of experience in over 70 locations in 30 countries ranges from South Africa to Siberia and Argentina to Afghanistan.
