Trip will coincide with spectacular celebration of Chinese culture across the country

China's president will tour the UAE in one of the largest state visits the country has ever hosted. The visit by Xi Jinping from July 19 to 21 will coincide with a spectacular celebration of Chinese culture across the country.
Cinemas will show Chinese productions and the spotlight will be placed on China's 200,000-strong expat community, as well as the crucial ties in business, tourism and diplomacy. For example Dubai Opera will host a Chinese dance special on Sunday, while Chinese TV series and drama will also be screened on channels here.
