On Friday Polish women will take to the streets of Warsaw to demand reproductive rights. Thousands of people from all over Poland will gather to protest against tightening the abortion law. Polish palriament is now proceeding a bill that will ban abortion when the fetus is seriously malformed.
Organisers expect big crowd after the chairman from the conservative Law and Justice party didn't allow speaches from the representatives of pro choice organisations and close the meeting after few hours during the meeting of parliament commission working on the project of the bill. The bill left the commission with the positive opinion and will now be proceeded by the parliament.

In Poland abortion is allowed only in thre circumstances: when the woman's life or health is endangered by the continuation of pregnancy, when the pregnancy is a result of a criminal act or when the fetus is seriously malformed. Women in Poland are not subject to a penalty for illegal termination of pregnancy.
