MEXICAN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
MEXICO CITY, MEXICO l 01 JULY 2018

Mexicans go to the polls on July 1st to elect a new president who will lead the country for the next six years.

Polls indicate leftist candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has a comfortable lead over the remaining three candidates: Jose Antonio Maede, former foreign minister and candidate for the ruling party, Ricardo Anaya of the right-left coalition, and independent candidate Jaime "El Bronco" Rodriguez.

MEXICAN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
MEXICO CITY, MEXICO | 01 JULY 2018

General elections are scheduled to be held in Mexico on 1 July 2018. Citizens will go to the polls to elect a new president who will lead the country for the next six years.

Incumbent president Enrique Peña Nieto is not eligible for a second term according to Mexico's constitution.

The same was true for members of the legislature elected in previous elections, so both chambers of Congress will be completely renovated.
