A shooter opened fire at a Florida high school Wednesday, killing “multiple” people, sending students running out into the streets and SWAT team members swarming in before authorities took the shooter into custody.

At least 17 people were killed when a gunman attacked a high school in Parkland, Florida on Wednesday.
A 19-year old suspect was taken into custody. He had an AR-15 rifle and multiple ammunition magazines. He had previously been expelled from the school for disciplinary reasons.
It was America's deadliest school shooting since the attack at Newtown, Connecticut in 2012.
