JULIAN ASSANGE ARREST WARRANT DECISION

A ruling is expected at Westminster Magistrates Court on 13 February on whether to scrap a U.K. warrant for the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Lawyers are being allowed to make a new set of arguments challenging whether it is in the British public interest to continue the case against Assange, after a judge upheld the arrest warrant at a previous hearing on 6 February.
Assange remains a wanted man in the country where he has spent five years inside the Ecuadorean embassy, but a ruling in his favour would end Britain's case against him.

UK warrant to arrest Wikileaks founder Julian Assange will be ruled by court on 13th of February. Lawyers for Mr Assange, who has been living in London's Ecuador embassy since 2012, went on to argue against it on other grounds. Judge Emma Arbuthnot said, concidered arguments, she was not persuaded the warrant should be withdrawn.
