SPAIN EXTRAORDINARY CABINET MEETING
MADRID, SPAIN

Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy has announced an extraordinary meeting of the Spanish government meeting for this Saturday.

According to a statement issued by the Government, TheCabinet will approve measures to "protect the general interests of the spanish people and... restore constitutional order" to Catalonia. Any measures which would impact the autonomous status of Catalonia will also need to be passed by the Senate.
